POPPIN' POPPIES

I know it sounds unusual to use a branch to hang a quilt (even if it is a small one ).... but it really works quite well and adds some interest to my otherwise drab and dull hall bath. The quilt itself is a project from a Quilt University class, "POPPIN' POPPIES". www.quiltuniversity.com It's hard to tell in the photos, but the flower heads and the leaves are 3-D.

oooooooooo... this is gorgeous!!! I love the background fabric, and that deep luscious violet color is incredible... I think it looks great hanging on the branch - now I know what to do with some of those branches I've collected on my nature walks... =o)

This is totally gorgeous. I love poppies and this pattern just literally pops out at you. The hanging is quirkie and works fantastically. Wonderful job all round.
